Legal Experience
Andrew is a Florida Bar Board Certified Real Estate Attorney and his legal practice and real world experience also includes vast experience in the hospitality industry, including hotel, restaurant, resort, timeshare, condominium, liquor licensing, and related areas. While at Baker & Hostetler LLP, Andrew, in addition to his general real estate practice, he actively worked on the acquisition and development of hotels and restaurants, condominium formation, timeshare and other forms of vacation ownership projects and clubs, Interstate Land Sales Full Disclosure Act and state filings, and advertising.
In conjunction with his work with the Florida Chapter of the American Resort Development Association (ARDA), Andrew participated extensively in the drafting and adoption of Florida’s landmark nonjudicial foreclosure of timeshare law, enacted in 2010. Andrew has also assisted in the drafting and adoption of several bills related to the Florida Vacation Plan and Timeshare Act and Florida’s Condominium Act. He is also part of an ARDA group currently working with the New York Office of the Attorney General on potential revisions to Part 24 of Title NYCRR, Regulations Governing Timeshare Offering Plans.
During law school, Andrew was a summer clerk in the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida for Judge Jay P. Cohen and worked for a complete semester as a full-time intern in the legal department of Hard Rock Café.
One of the perks working at Baker & Hostetler LLP was his ability to do work on sophisticated legal matters as well as do plenty of pro bono work. Andrew’s pro bono legal work earned him a Certificate of Appreciation from the Board of Trustees of the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association.

Business Experience
Andrew is a licensed Florida real estate broker and passively practices real estate. Andrew also has a broad range of experience in the restaurant industry, including nine years with a national restaurant chain as a regional director and three years as a restaurant owner/operator. Currently (and since 2006) Andrew is an adjunct professor at the University of Central Florida, Rosen College of Hospitality Management, teaching Hospitality Law and Restaurant Law. Andrew is a frequent presenter of CE classes at the Orlando Regional Realtor Association and has written for their magazine, OrlandoRealtor. He has contributed to several articles in Developments, a magazine for the “voice of the industry” published by ARDA and for Hotel Motel Management Magazine.
Andrew has a bachelor of science degree in business (B.S.B.A.), with a concentration in management from the University of Delaware, a masters of business administration (MBA) from the University of Central Florida, and a juris doctorate (J.D.) from NOVA Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center. While at the University of Central Florida, Andrew was a member of the International Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society, the highest recognition a business student anywhere in the world can receive in an accredited business program. Andrew graduated law school cum laude, was senior staff of the law review, and received the book award in Torts, the highest grade award.
